Dueling Conduct
Dueling Rules and Conduct:
1. One on One duals must be fought ONE on ONE!
Do not be healed by an outside party
Do not be buffed by an outside party.
Outsiders must not in any way, hinder your opponents abilities
a. Snaring, rooting, bliding, etc...
Any outside help will automatically diqualify you.
2. Lose with Honor.
If you fall to your opponent, accept defeat with humility and grace.
Nobody likes a cry-baby!
3. Win with Honor.
It is recommended that you congratulate your opponent on a well fought battle.
Refrain from berating your fallen opponent.
Remember, that his (or hers) defeat has just been broadcasted to the entire zone, further humiliation is not called for.
4. Be respectful of those around you.
The old phrase "Take it Outside" is what we're talking about here.
Do not dual your opponent in a crowded mercantile, or bank.
5. Be respectful of your peers.
If you are currently in a group hunt... make sure that you are not needed, before abandoning your party.
6. Show mercy!
Before the final blow, ask for your opponents submission.
Make sure to do this in a /shout so all around you sees that you gave your opponent a chance to live.
7. Do not prolong a death.
In some occasions, you may see "You are bleeding to death" as you die.
This kind of death, has the potential to make you loose Experience...
Do not let your opponent die this way.
If you or your opponent is slowly dying, ask to be killed quickly, so no experience is lost.
8. Show respect for your opponent.
Make sure your opponent is bound somewhere nearby, or...
If your opponent is in need of a Teleport, to recover his/her corpse, help in anyway you can.
9. Allow the fallen safe passage.
Never attack during a corpse recovery.
Offer to pull your opponent's corpse to safer ground, if needed.
